The LPGA Just Became More Interesting
26, good looking enough to be a model, legs to her earlobes....yes, golf just got more interesting.
And before you ask, yes, she can actually play golf as well, this isn't purely for the TV audience.

Slice N' Dice
Or more formally, should circumcision become a regular practice again (as it has been in hte past in fads and waves)?
One the one side there's the thought that it reduces feeling in the exposed glans, thus leading to lower pleasure.
On the other it's known to protect against certain diseases, HIV among them.
However, there's an interesting idea that by hte very fact of reducing feeling, this actually increases the sum of pleasure, so that might be just another argument why circumcision should once again be widespread.

Perry, Perry....
Is he really that dumb? Didn't he realize he was the joke, not part of it?
Or is it all, as is hinted, simply viral marketing for the movie?

The Odd Couple
They're Japan's odd couple.
Capybaras and squirrel monkeys, unlikely neighbors in the wild, are living in the same enclosure at a zoo outside Tokyo and so far, they're loving it.
The monkeys ride on the capybara's backs and kiss the world's largest rodents, who tolerate their tricks. But in the wild, their paths do not cross -- capybara's live on river banks while the monkeys live in forests.
Keepers at the Tobu zoo said it took the capybaras years to tolerate the monkeys.
What next? Cats with dogs?

Hilary Duff Breakup
Hilary Duff's new album was recorded and written against the background of her breakup:
NEW YORK (Billboard) - As multimedia momentum goes, no one need teach 19-year-old Hilary Duff a thing.
For the past decade, she has built a career that began on TV, peaking in 2001 with her title role in Disney's 65-episode "Lizzie McGuire," making her a name brand among tweens.
Two years later, she recorded a full-length studio album, "Metamorphosis," which hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200, and the single "Come Clean" reached the Hot 100's top 40. The project sold 3.7 million copies -- and an MTV star was born.
With her upcoming album "Dignity," due April 3 via Disney's Hollywood Records label, Duff is coming out with the majesty of a high-class debutante. Duff co-wrote all songs on the album with A-lister Kara DioGuardi (Gwen Stefani, Christina Aguilera), including the uptempo single "With Love." She is also promoting her new Elizabeth Arden fragrance, With Love, in addition to a clothing line, Stuff by Hilary Duff, available at mass-market retailers Wal-Mart, Kohls and Target.
"I know how lucky I am, but I've worked hard," Duff says. "Who could complain? I've traveled the world multiple times with so many rewards."
For the new album, Duff insisted on being more involved. "I knew I couldn't do it myself, but working with Kara allowed me to talk about things on my mind. It was one big therapy session." During the songwriting process, Duff endured the full scope of a relationship -- true love, doubt, breakup and resolution -- all of which play out during the course of the set's 14 tracks. (The other party was Good Charlotte rocker Joel Madden, who is now dating Nicole Richie.)
"True love" at 19 years old is a bit strong isn't it? Teenage infatuation you mean?

Chuck Berry DVD
I well remember this Chuck Berry concert film when it first came out.
Director Taylor Hackford's "Chuck Berry: Hail! Hail! Rock 'n' Roll," a documentary about the rock pioneer's 60th birthday concert in 1986, won top honors at the third annual Music DVD Awards Tuesday.
The film was named best of show, beating more than 100 contenders in Home Media Magazine's contest at the Wyndham Bel Age Hotel in West Hollywood.
"Hail! Hail!" also won for best vintage concert and best special features/bonus materials. It was released last June by Image Entertainment in two-disc and four-disc configurations.
Judges praised the 1987 film for capturing Berry's fire and passion onstage, as well as the irascible veteran's outrageous exploits before, during and after the concert at the Fox Theater in St Louis, Mo., organized by Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards, Berry's long-suffering protege.
I must have a look around on Amazon for it. It's bloody good, as they say over here.
Talk to Michael Jackson for $3,400
Fans in Japan have been signing up to pay $3,400 to talk to Michyael Jackson:
Excited fans got the chance to meet Michael Jackson in Tokyo on Thursday -- but only those who could afford to pay 400,000 yen ($3,400) for the privilege.
Fans of the "King of Pop" screamed as he arrived by van at the venue in the Japanese capital for the event, at which he had promised to chat and take pictures with up to 300 guests, but not to sing or dance.
They were not put off by the price.
"I would pay 10 times that amount any time anywhere," said Carlo Riley, a Jackson fan and impersonator with long black hair and a black surgical mask, who danced as he waited in line.
Riley said he flew from the United States especially to meet Jackson face-to-face. "If they do it again, I'll pay it again -- easily," he added.
Since being acquitted of child molestation charges at a trial that ended in June 2005, Jackson has mostly kept a low profile, spending time in Bahrain and Ireland.
He last visited Japan, where he has a huge fan base, in May to accept a music award. Since arriving at the weekend, he has been mobbed by fans during a shopping trip and a visit to Disneyland.
In November, Jackson sang at an awards ceremony in London, his first public performance since the trial, but his efforts were panned by critics.
Jeez, I'd happily pay $3,400 never to hear a single one of his songs again. Although some of the Jackson 5 stuff was pretty good.

Children of Glory
Great, a film's been made using the Hungarian Uprising as its background:
The Hollywood-style cinema treatment of Hungary's 1956 revolution that was crushed by the Soviets and the water polo team's Olympic revenge was made to appeal to viewers worldwide, its producer Andrew G. Vajna said.
It should come as no surprise that Vajna, who became a top Hollywood producer after fleeing Hungary in 1956, would use the political and sporting drama of that year as the backdrop for a fictional love story in his film "Children of Glory".
Vajna, who has produced a wide range of films from "Rambo" and "Total Recall" to "Evita", said he harboured hopes of making a major drama about that eventful year ever since he escaped.
"It's been close to my heart since I left at 12," Vajna told Reuters after his "Children of Glory" (or "Szabadsag, szerelem") earned thunderous applause at a Berlin film festival screening.
"It was ultimately a good thing for me that it happened -- it gave me the opportunity of a lifetime in America. It's also a good thing for everyone. It changed everything. The Berlin Wall would not have fallen without the Hungarian revolution."
Vajna, now 62, kept looking for the right way to make the film about Hungary's upheaval in between producing blockbuster franchises like "Terminator" and "Die Hard". He got serious about the project nine years ago.
That polo team revenge: not only did the Hungarians beat the Russian team, they beat them into a bloody pulp while doing so. Seriously, blood all over the swimming pool.

Paula Abdul
Paula Abdul makes something of a fool of herself on American Idol:
In the annals of mean things the “American Idol” judges have done over the years, two incidents from this year’s Los Angeles auditions are sure to make the highlights. Simon, Randy, Paula and guest judge Olivia Newton-John first made a decision that earned the wrath of frustrated parents everywhere, and then the judges tried to break up a happy couple for no good reason. It’s like they’re aggressively trying to be the anti-role models.
Los Angeles is filled with young people dreaming of a career in show business, in the process crushing mom and dad’s dreams of a child with a college education, a steady paycheck and something resembling a future. Alaina Alexander was one of those hopefuls, but said she had come to the conclusion at age 24 that being a struggling performer in Los Angeles is not very much fun. She planned to quit and go back to school.
Then “Idol” came around, and she decided to give the dream one more shot. She made the most of the last chance, and got Simon’s vote right away, but Randy hesitated because of the pitch problems and Paula was noncommittal. Alexander reacted simply: “I’m close to quitting, so it’s up to you guys to let me know what my destiny is.”
Never mind, it's got to be better than being a cheerleader, which is where she started out.

Beyonece: Most Gorgeous
Beyonce Knbowles has been voted the top fantasy girlfriend this year:
Singer-actress Beyonce, star of the movie musical "Dreamgirls," was named this year's "most desirable woman" in an annual reader survey released on Wednesday by the popular lifestyles Web site AskMen.com.
The entertainer, sometimes credited by her full name, Beyonce Knowles, jumped from No. 50 last year to the top of AskMen's list of "fantasy girlfriends" in 2007, as ranked by its readers -- a majority of whom are men aged 18 to 34.
Beyonce, who burst on the recording scene as a member of the chart-topping R&B group Destiny's Child, earned a Golden Globe nomination for her role as the Diana Ross-like character in "Dreamgirls," a big-screen adaptation of the Broadway hit musical. The movie is nominated for eight Oscars.
Screen star Scarlett Johansson is this year's AskMen runner-up, followed by the top pick from 2006, Jessica Alba, who slips two places to No. 3.
Apoologies if I differ: until there's a redhead in there to vote for I ain't voting.
